Creating and Building FSBO Ads

  1. Do not loose your user name and password for the admin section
  2. Login into your account here: http://login.sellmyhouse.com/wfLogin.aspx
  3. Collect a check or have the client create their own account and pay here: http://login.sellmyhouse.com/wfRegister.aspx (NOTE: make sure they mark you down as the affiliate)
  4. Forward the check to:

  5. Visit the client's property to take pictures, deliver the signs, collect the check, and get a description for the website.
  6. Create the website. Follow the step by step instructions. There are 4 data entry areas for each website; Edit Powersite, Media & Documents, Design Picker, and Marketing .
    • Edit Powersite- In this section you will, add the content about each property, and manage messages and custom pages.
    • Media & Documents – In this section you will upload pictures, manage display options, and add music, blogs, or video. Add the www.SellMyHouseBlog.com to every website to increase exposure to our brand. Add www.SellMyHouse.com as a Photo Watermark Setting and click box for copyright symbol. Add a banner in red to make the first picture stand out.
    • Design Picker – In this section you will choose which format the property will be displayed.
    • Marketing – In this section you will manage search engine optimization, select syndication outlets, check visitor stats, add virtual tours, and design flyers.
      1. NOTE: Make sure the Search Engines tab utilizes the following information for best search placement:
        • PAGE TITLE Example: Jackson Hole House for Sale. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Single Family located at 112 River Meadow Circle, Teton Valley, Victor, Idaho is presented by SellMyHouse.com
        • META Description Example: Jackson Hole Real Estate, House for Sale
        • META KEYWORDS Example: House for Sale,112 River Meadow Circle, Victor, Idaho, Single Family, Jackson Hole, Real Estate, Wyoming
  7. Link the Virtual Tour to the website if this option is purchased.
    • Taking correct pictures is critical to making this feature work properly. This feature utilizes software technology that 'stitches' pictures together to turn them into virtual tours. Important Notes:
      • Only utilize this feature for large open areas such as kitchens, master bathrooms, and landscaping areas.
      • Take at least 3 overlapping pictures of each area to ensure they can be stitched together to form the panoramic shot in each virtual tour.
  8. Once payment is made the website will be published to the internet.
  9. If you are offering our basic listing on SellMyHouse,com as an enticement to a client, register in this admin system and load property information here: http://www.sellmyhouse.com/altregistration.php.
